Warm Skillet Brownies

1: Pre-heat your oven to 350°F.

2: Combine butter and chocolate (reserving 1/2 cup of chocolate chips for later) in a bowl.

3: Using a double boiler method, fill a small pot of water 1/2 full with water and heat over medium heat. Place the bowl of chocolate and butter over the water and stir occasionally until fully melted and combined. Remove and allow to cool for 15-20 minutes.

4: While the chocolate and butter mixture cools, combine the dry ingredients (baking powder, salt, and flour) and mix well.

5: In a separate bowl, combine the eggs and vanilla, stirring to incorporate without beating. Then add the sugar and stir until incorporated.

6: Combine the 1/2 cup of chocolate chips with 1 tablespoon of flour. Then, add the dry ingredients and the chocolate chips to the now room temperature chocolate and butter mixture, folding to combine until there are no lumps. Then add the egg mixture and stir to combine.

7: Divide the mixture among the mini skillets and bake for 22 minutes. If making ahead and refrigerating, bake for 24 minutes.

8: Finish with Maldon sea salt and a scoop of ice cream.
