A simple and basic pizza dough recipe that you can make at home, requiring only a few ingredients. It's cheaper than store-bought and creates a great crust. The preparation takes less than 15 minutes and can be stored for up to 4 days.
Step 1: Combine yeast with the warm water and allow it to activate for about 5-10 minutes.
Step 2: Add olive oil, flour and salt to the activated yeast mixture.
Step 3: Knead the mixture by hand or with a stand mixer until fully mixed and smooth (about 5-10 minutes if using a stand mixer).
Step 4: If not using right away, portion out the dough and allow it to proof in the fridge for up to 4 days.
Step 5: If using the same day, allow the dough to rise for an hour, then portion out and let rise for another hour covered before rolling out and assembling pizzas.
